I love this device! It is a must have for anyone doing work on cars with obd2. My truck has a front strut air leak which causes my front to do low to the ground. I use this Device to raise my truck and prevent it from lowering while driving! I have looked arou d and asked others in automotive groups and they all said a bidirectional scanner will cost $500-+$1500! All of them are incorrect! This is great technology. I also use it for my wife's car issues.

I bought the THINKDIAG on a whim. I noticed the references to the X431 - which is THE diag tool I really wanted but don't have the nearly $1100 to buy it. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the product. It has all the power of the Launch X431 V (code reader, OBD II standard reader, Extended OBD II reader, bi-directional support, it's ALL there. Want to test your A/C clutch you can activate it. Want to test the rear right brake function, it's in there. Bleed the ABS system... it's there. Replace/recode the fuel injectors, done. Replace and re calibrate crankshaft position sensor, also there.

All of the "Reset Functionality" is located under the "Special Functions" section for your automobile. If you want, say, Gear Reset for EVERY auto you can buy that separately under the Maintenance Functions section. All of the bi-directional control is located under the Actuation Test area. This really does have the same power as the Launch X431V/V+. It just doesn't come with the tablet. :-)

Graphic (combined and single) is great. I did a 45-minute recording of all ECM stats and was able to play it back and graph it in different ways/combinations in order to work through an injector problem. This allowed me to review data, slowly and truly determine what was wrong, and where.

I received this scanner and the next day used it. I have 3 vehicles and 2 had at"service engine light" on. This scanner provided me with the DTC and I looked it Plus, cleared my trouble lights. One car was as simple to repair as replacing my gas cap and the other vehicle was a bad thermost, which I replaced in about 30 minutes. This tool saved me from having to go to the repair garage and paying a higher price for the parts and labor cost.up. I made my repairs and it saved me about $400.00 the first time I used it.
